Anti-Moisture Powder

Cost-effective moisture control for defect-free production.

Anti-Moisture Powder

Anti-Moisture Powder locks onto the moisture in your resin so it can't turn to steam during processing. That keeps streaks, pinholes and bubbles out of the finished part.

Plastic resins, especially recycled plastic, pick up moisture from the air. Once the melt heats up, that water turns to steam and ruins the part. Blended into the resin before it enters the line, the active chemistry binds the water molecules so the plastic melts cleanly, with no separate drying stage.

Grades

Matched to your feed condition.

Tell us your resin and your line and we will recommend the right grade and confirm the dosing on a trial run.

  • Anti-Moisture Powder, Royal grade

    Royal

Our highest grade. Fast moisture capture with controlled reactivity, improved dispersion and a uniform melt, so the finished part comes out smooth and glossy. Super-fine mesh stops the extruder sieve choking, the triple coating cuts dusting and extends shelf life, and the free calcium raises the mix temperature on contact with moisture, which can cut heating energy use. Made for recycling plants and high-moisture feed, where ordinary desiccant powders fall short.

Frequently asked questions

What is Anti-Moisture Powder used for?

It is a treated calcium oxide powder added to plastic to absorb moisture, preventing bubbles and surface defects in recycled and filled materials. Typical uses include recycled film, blown film and moulded parts.

Which polymers does it work with?

It is used in polyethylene and polypropylene, and is especially useful in recycled polyolefins. It is added directly during compounding or extrusion.

Can I get a trial sample?

Yes. Share your base resin, end application and the moisture problem you are seeing, and we will ship a matched grade for line evaluation along with a Certificate of Analysis.

Does it stay invisible in the part?

At the recommended loading it disperses cleanly and stays effectively invisible. For very high-clarity film we suggest a finer grade and a quick trial.

What is the typical lead time?

Standard grades ship in 7 to 14 working days from order confirmation. Custom formulations matched to a specific application take 3 to 4 weeks. We confirm an exact timeline at the quote stage.
