Anti-Block Masterbatch
Cleaner film separation without haze loss.
Anti-Block Masterbatch is a mineral anti-block dispersion in a polyolefin carrier that creates micro-roughness on the film surface, preventing layer-to-layer cling at winding, storage and unwinding without affecting optical clarity or seal performance.
In high-speed blown and cast film operations, roll-to-roll blocking is a persistent problem. It causes micro-tearing at unwinding, jams form-fill-seal jaws, and forces line stoppages. Anti-Block eliminates this by placing a microscopic standoff between adjacent film layers so they separate cleanly every time, without damage to print or lamination surfaces.
We supply clarity-grade anti-block for clarity-critical applications like transparent laminate and printed film, and cost-effective grades for applications like agricultural and industrial film. Carrier resin is matched to your base polymer so there is no compatibility issue on your line.

Key benefits
Clean film release
Prevents layer-to-layer cling at winding and unwinding, with no tearing at the FFS jaw.
Optical clarity kept
Minimal haze impact, suitable for transparent laminate and clear overwrap grades.
Low dosage required
Effective at low addition levels across LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP and BOPP.
Food-contact safe
FDA and EU 10/2011 compliant grades available, suitable for food packaging films.

Frequently asked questions
How does Anti-Block work?
Fine mineral particles protrude slightly above the film surface during extrusion and cooling, creating micro-roughness. This breaks the van der Waals contact between adjacent film layers, so rolls unwind cleanly without tearing.
Which resins and films is it compatible with?
Standard grades suit blown and cast LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE and PP films. Matched-carrier grades are available for BOPP and BOPET. The mineral anti-block active is inert across all polyolefins and does not affect corona treatment, printing inks or lamination adhesives.
Can I get a trial sample?
Yes. We supply 1 to 2 kg trial samples for line evaluation. Share film type, gauge and target release performance and we will ship a matched grade with a Certificate of Analysis. Sample shipping is free within India; export samples available with freight at cost.
What is the difference between the clarity and cost-effective grades?
Clarity grades offer better optical clarity and are preferred for transparent and printing-grade films. Cost-effective grades suit applications where haze is acceptable, such as agricultural and industrial films. We can recommend the right grade based on your film type and clarity requirements.
What is the lead time?
Standard grades ship within 7 to 14 working days. Custom formulations matched to your film spec take 3 to 4 weeks. We confirm an exact timeline at the quote stage.
