Anti-Oxidant in recycled PE / PP granulation.

Anti-Oxidant Masterbatch

Hold melt viscosity. Hold colour. Hold tensile.

Anti-Oxidant Masterbatch protects plastic from heat damage during processing and through its working life. It carries a balanced antioxidant package in a polyolefin pellet that stops the polymer chains from breaking down under heat and oxygen, so colour, strength and melt flow stay stable. Widely used in PE, PP and recycled polyolefins.

A synergistic blend of a primary antioxidant and a secondary antioxidant, pre-dispersed in a polyolefin carrier. Engineered for processors running PE and PP at high shear, recyclers handling multi-pass regrind and recyclate streams, and converters where long-term oxidative stability decides product life.

Frequently asked questions

What’s the recommended letdown ratio?

Letdown ratio depends on resin type and processing conditions. Virgin polyolefins at standard temperatures require lower loadings than recyclate streams with degraded stabiliser packages. Contact us for grade-specific guidance on dose.

Which resins is it compatible with?

The polyolefin carrier is broadly compatible with HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PP, PS and ABS. It is particularly suited to recyclate streams where the original stabiliser package has been consumed by prior heat history. Dedicated non-yellowing grades are available for food-contact applications.

How does it chemically protect the polymer?

By free-radical scavenging. The primary antioxidant interrupts the chain-propagation step of auto-oxidation, while the secondary co-stabiliser decomposes hydroperoxides into non-radical products. The two work synergistically: the primary stops the chain, the secondary cleans up the by-products.

What active content and stabiliser ratio do you supply?

Active loading and the primary-to-secondary ratio are tuned per application: general extrusion grades differ from high-temperature or high-shear processes such as TPR and TPV, and from long-term thermal stability grades for cable insulation. The exact ratio is specified on each grade's datasheet.

Can I get a trial sample?

Yes. We supply 1-2 kg trial samples for line evaluation. Share resin grade, regrind ratio, processing temperature and target oven-ageing or OIT spec; we ship a matched grade with a Certificate of Analysis. Sample shipping is free within India; export samples are available with freight at cost.

What’s the lead time?

Standard grades ship in 7-14 working days. Custom non-yellowing or food-contact formulations take 3-4 weeks including documentation. We confirm an exact timeline at the quote stage.
