Woven polypropylene sacks made with Sodium Filler Masterbatch

Sodium Filler Masterbatch

Cuts material cost in carry bags, garbage bags and blown film.

Sodium Filler Masterbatch lowers the cost of plastic compounds without changing your line. A share of the virgin polymer in your compound is replaced with a sodium-based mineral filler that is carried in pellets matched to your resin. The masterbatch is dosed at the hopper just like a colour or additive, so no equipment changes are needed.

Used in carry bags, garbage bags, shopping bags, blown film, liner film and other commodity polyolefin parts where raw-material cost is the dominant constraint. The carrier resin is matched to your host polymer so dispersion is clean and the filler does not affect downstream sealing, printing or lamination steps when loaded correctly.

Key benefits

Lower raw-material cost

Replaces a share of virgin polymer with a low-cost mineral filler, cutting compound cost across every bag and film run.

Drop-in at the hopper

Dosed alongside the host resin like any masterbatch. No line changes, no new feeders, no operator retraining.

PE and PP compatible

Carrier resin matched to your host polymer so dispersion is clean in HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE and PP commodity grades.

Reliable supply

Consistent quality lot-to-lot with a Certificate of Analysis on every shipment, manufactured under ISO 9001:2015.

Frequently asked questions

What is Sodium Filler Masterbatch used for?

It is a mineral filler in a PE or PP carrier that cuts polymer cost while keeping good processing. Typical uses include carry bags, garbage bags and blown film.

Which polymers does it work with?

Standard grades are compatible with polyethylene and polypropylene. We match the carrier resin to your base resin so the masterbatch melts and disperses cleanly during processing.

Can I get a trial sample?

Yes. Share your base resin, end application and your product and target cost saving, and we will ship a matched grade for line evaluation along with a Certificate of Analysis.

Do I need to change my equipment?

No. It runs on your existing line with no equipment change, added directly with your resin.

What is the typical lead time?

Standard grades ship in 7 to 14 working days from order confirmation. Custom formulations matched to a specific application take 3 to 4 weeks. We confirm an exact timeline at the quote stage.
